INTENSIVE: Finding Your Lane on The BDSM Superhighway
There are so many moving parts inherent in our chosen lifestyle and so many varying perspectives and views on the whys, hows, whats, et al. of Leather, Kink, BDSM, etc. It can oftentimes be at minimum confusing – and at its worst dangerous – to not have taken the time to self reflect on what it is you are looking for. This intensive is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to consider their own needs, wants, and desires surrounding: dynamics vs service (top and bottom), community (leather families, tribes, etc.), play vs dynamics, and several other topics – all aimed at fine tuning what each individual might consider their best fir. We have no one true way – but we can help each other find what fits best.

Finding Your Tribe
Each person in the lifestyle no matter how old or how long, can identify with the need in finding a place where you can belong and people you can fit in with. It can be a great enhancement to your journey and path. But how do you do that successfully? Let’s talk about it. Online, or in person – dynamic or solo – awkward or popular – the idea that we are all looking for safe space is almost universal. Explore with the presenter how to find, cultivate, or create this for yourself.

Solo On Your Journey
It can feel strange to not be in a dynamic or to be uninvolved. It often seems this entire community is set up for partnered people. Single, un-partnered participants may feel out of place. This class is designed to help you navigate and appreciate this time on your journey. The class goal is to help you manage to grow and participate in the community outside of a relationship. It can happen.

Parents in the Rabbit Hole – Balance & Self Care
Balance is everything. Parenting and the lifestyle do not seem to go hand and hand. How do we allow ourselves the self care that kink, conferences, events, play parties, etc provide – while responsibly parenting? How can you indulge and keep your children safe and/ or informed? Who needs to know what? Parents just wanna have fun.

Brats 101
Brats 101 is a class designed to discuss the complex attributes relevant to the often misunderstood “brat” moniker. Be prepared to challenge your preconceived notions and think outside of the bad behavior box most people put brats in. We hope to have you leave with the understanding that Brat is not a one size fit all term.

Don’t Forget Your PRICK
This class will surround discussions on participating safely in BDSM and discuss the various acronyms for choices in participating via negotiation themes, including: SSC, CCCC, RACK, PRICK, etc. We will focus primarily on PRICK and use “seemingly real life” situational examples to have participants work through how in applying PRICK to the situation can be managed from differing perspectives (top, bottom, Dominant, submissive, observer, friend, etc.). The class will also provide time for participants to ask questions and propose alternative suggestions for situations.

Do Nothing by Default
This class centers around the concept of labeling and how often times we end up in positions because of who we present as more so than who we are. The class examines the ideas of self reflection and the normalization of the “exploring” label, and identifies the specific ways in which our community/subculture “force” identification and thereby create default archetypes despite what we know are best practices.

Balancing on the Slash – Sswitch Perspectives in Kink, BDSM, and Leather
Switches are the often forgotten or misunderstood step children of the different alternative communities we move in. Some go so far as to not recognize the existence in history and see Sswitches as a TNG thing. This class provides a personal perspective on the way in which a Sswitch identifying individual has identified & navigated in, found & viewed, as well as created personal space and shared space with other switches. How to ensure that this portion of our community is considered in event development is also discussed as it relates to inclusion and safe space.

I AM NOT – Well You Might Be
This class is a self exploration in labels – it is not intended for the newest kinklings. This is an opportunity to split yourself open at the seams and see if there might be more than you expect inside. Think about a version of Have You Ever that ends in options for you to explore new things and expand your journey down the rabbit hole – come with an open mind and a commitment to exploring yourself.

Spoons, Tortoises, & Bad Chargers in Your Playbag (NEW)
An open discussion on navigating spaces while managing chronic illness. We have chosen an alternative “lifestyle”, but often our life chooses other things for us that impacts our journey and participation in Kink, BDSM, and Leather in a huge way. Chronic Illness happens – perhaps to you, perhaps your partner, maybe a friend, or sibling; but they are no less valid, and needed in our spaces because of it. There are inherent challenges to managing, ways to help, and ways to allow others to know how they can help you. Some of us are GREAT at these, some of us could always use some reminders. This class is an opportunity to be validated, validate others, share tips, tricks, even cautionary tales, ask questions, make a friend, and know you are seen. Feel free to join and listen if you are just trying to learn, please note this is a facilitated discussion class.
