This class is my story: how identities I never got to pick showed up in leather spaces that weren’t built with me in mind, and what it took to carve out room anyway. We’ll talk about visibility and invisibility, navigating ableism and exclusion in kink community spaces, and what leadership looks like when you’re holding multiple identities at once instead of just one. This isn’t a theory class — it’s lived experience, offered so the next person handed this intersection doesn’t have to figure it out alone.

A personal perspective on how a Switch-identifying individual has found, navigated, and created space in alternative communities — including how to ensure switches are considered in event development, inclusion, and safe space.

This class looks at what servant leadership means right now, when AI is reshaping how we communicate, delegate, and even connect with each other. We’ll talk about leading through service, protecting your own capacity while giving generously, and using tools like AI to serve smarter without serving less humans. Centers on labeling and how we end up in positions based on how we present rather than who we are. Examines self-reflection, the normalizing of the “exploring” label, and how community can force identification into default archetypes despite best practices.
